Promoting healthy lifestyles before, throughout and beyond pregnancy through high quality research

The health and behaviour of women during pregnancy can have implications on their pregnancy experience, short and long term health as well as their child’s health. Health behaviours such as physical activity, diet, smoking, alcohol consumption and adherence to medication are modifiable and can greatly influence health and wellbeing outcomes for mother and baby.

This website represents an area of work being developed at University of Stirling which aims to develop, test and implement research into the optimal ways to help women engage in healthy behaviours during their pregnancy and beyond.
